Variable Rate Fertilizer
Variable rate fertilizer work can be accomplished with both soil and foliar applied products. Depending on your farm setup, you'll want to choose some different tools from us to help you make the best decision for VRT fertilizer.
The most utilized approach today for Agri-Trend's VRT fertilizer is the use of remote sensing, yield data, and producer knowledge to establish management zones. This is a semi-automated process, but we take pride in our ability to reach management zones with our clients that best represent variability. As you build upon your program with us, zones may change and shift slightly as you gather more data and more confidence.
We have experience varying single product macro fertilizers, micro fertilizers, foliar fertility, and blended products. From automated VRT solutions to spot treatements of select nutrients, we aim to make the most sense of varied soil fertility for your farm.
