Variable Rate Technology
VRT is really how we deploy some of the actions and recommendations for you to better allocate your resources using your equipment technology. It's not a requirement to have VRT equipment on your farm to work with ATGSI, but depending on the recommendation, it may make things a whole lot easier.
Through automated machine controllers, a prescibed variable rate of seed, fertilizer, and pesticides can be applied at site specific locations using GPS technology.
