Robert Saik - CEO
As founder and CEO of the Agri-Trend Group of Companies, Robert holds a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Alberta, is a Professional Agrologist and a Certified Agricultural Consultant.
Mr. Saik has prepared, published and delivered many technical papers, and has been featured in many industry publications. He has provided leadership in the area of strategic marketing to many firms including TD Canada Trust. Robert has travelled extensively in North America as well as the UK, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, the Middle East, Kazakhstan and Ukraine where he has been involved in a variety of projects and speaking engagements.
Robert is currently the Alberta Director for the Canadian Consulting Agrologists Association, is a member of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Policy Committee, and is a Director for the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce.
In 1991 Robert received the President's Award for outstanding contribution to the agricultural industry from the Western Fertilizer and Chemical Dealers Association and is the co-chair for the Canadian Association of Ag Retailers Conference in Calgary in February, 2007. In 2006 he was recognized as Distinguished Agrologist of the Year by the Alberta Institute of Agrology.
Robert has always been a supporter, promoter, and user of technology on the farm. With a vision for ATGSI to support all things geo, Robert provides strategic direction and leadership for ATGSI and its people.
Warren Bills - President
Warren Bills grew up on his family grain farm near Marwayne, Alberta and after obtaining his B.Sc. in Plant Science from the University of Alberta went on to become involved in the application of Precision Agriculture products and services for Canadian farmers. With field experience at research facilities, crop input locations, and equipment dealerships, Warren has a passion for being able to bring some of the basics of agronomy together with the technology to develop well balanced precision ag programs that can be utilized by farmers.
In 2006, Warren connected with the AGRI-TREND Network and was involved in the development of Agri-Trend's Precision Management Process. Through strong mentorship, leadership, and guidance through individuals such as Rob Saik, Chris Paterson, Elston Solberg, and Terry Aberhart, Warren has excelled in his career and gained trusted relationships with members of the AGRI-TREND Network and their farm customers. As President of Agri-Trend Geo Solutions Inc., Warren will use his passion to grow a Network of Geo-Coaches who share the same passion and skill set, and who will work beside the shoulders of AGRI-TREND Coaches, Retailers, and farm customers to make this precision farming stuff a whole lot of fun and a whole lot of sense. Warren currently sits on the board of the Canadian Consulting Agrologist Assocation (CCAA) and is an articling agrologist with the Alberta Institute of Agrologists (AIA).
